Job Description

As a Head of Procurement, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and developing the procurement and supply chain strategy.
  • Managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
  • Identifying and mitigating any supply chain risks.
  • Overseeing all sourcing operations on local and regional level.
  • Implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Assessing market trends and their impact on sourcing activities.
  • Ensuring cost-effective procurement of quality goods and services.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Procurement should have:

  • Higher degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role managing both direct and indirect sourcing within the manufacturing industry, preferably in APAC region.
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent understanding of sourcing and procurement processes.
  • Ability to strategize and solve problems.
  • High level of commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication skills.
